I came across a log of frozen cookie dough in my freezer (leftover from all the holiday baking) and thought I could probably morph it in to some easy valentine cookies. (Best to use a cookie dough that doesn’t expand much during baking. I used our cream cheese walnut cookies.) I defrosted  the log and formed it into a heart shape; a wooden spoon helped to make the top indent, and hands formed the point on the other end. Once the dough was well chilled, I just sliced the log and had instant hearts! My son insisted on a glaze and sprinkles, of course, so I let him handle the rest on his own. So cute and so easy.
