Our baby isn't a baby anymore. I mean, technically at just a few months old, he is—but as he moves out of our room into his own, I'm feeling like he's all grown up. Here's what we're outfitting his room with to ease the transition (for him and us).
After hours down the Etsy rabbit hole, I found this print to hang above his crib, by an English artist named Dee Beale.
Most cribs look hard and boxy to me, so I loved the round, softer-looking edges of the Robin Crib immediately. The price -- it's the most affordable of the company's cribs -- sealed the deal.
The bedding from the new company Auggie is sweet but subtle. I can't wait until he graduates from the stripes and hearts of the crib sheets to the robots of the toddler line.
The new Summer Infant BabyTouch is the iPod of baby monitors: You touch the screen to pan and zoom in on the baby. I also like the "talk back" feature, which allows us to sing him lullabies half asleep from our own bed.
Just looking at this handmade cloud mobile makes us both happy.
